It might be a *little* hard to tell because he's upside down (and yanno, sorta falling from a burning tower...) but that boy, dear readers, is Fitz.

So now we have all three boys represented on the covers. Words cannot explain how giddy this makes me.
And I *know* showing you this cover is going to raise a bunch of questions, so I'm going to try to cover them here:
When does EVERBLAZE come out???The current scheduled release date is 11/4/14. Less than six months to go--WOO!!!!!!!
Can you tell us something about the plot???Um... not yet. BUT SOON.
Is EVERBLAZE the last book in the series???Well .... this is another question I can't answer yet. But again: SOON.
Does this mean there are a lot of Fitz scenes in the book????
Yes! Though there are also lots of Dex scenes and Keefe scenes and even quite a few Biana scenes, plus all your other favorite characters. EVERBLAZE is a rather long book. I'm not entirely sure how many pages it will be once it's all typeset, but it's longer than EXILE, so... a lot! And I love it. And it's FINALLY DONE. I can't wait for you guys to read!!!!!

Aw, hope you're feeling better. But listening to the EXILE audiobook sounds like an excellent way to spend the day. :D
DeleteIt's 6 months, two weeks, and 3 days (5 when you posted) away. That's why I try to wait until enough of a series is out before starting - these year(s) long gaps are too long. And I realize there's no way to shorten that gap, which is why I prefer not to read a series until I can do most of it at one time. On the other hand, waiting a year or so is better than never getting the next book in a series (which has happened to me in two different series).
DeleteYeah, it's a tricky, tricky thing. Readers read way faster than writers write, so there's always a delay. But the sad thing is, publishing likes to wait to see how the early books sell, before they'll decide if they should make more. So if readers decide to wait for the whole series to come out? That might mean the series gets cut short (which might be what happened with those other series you mentioned). That's why authors are SO INCREDIBLY GRATEFUL to our early fans, who take a chance on our books when our series are just beginning and wait so patiently for the next books to come out. If we didn't have you guys, we wouldn't get to write more books for you to love. :)

I am going to blow. Oh my god I love the series. I already know its going to be my all time favorite book no matter what. And yes, I am so happy Dex is not on the cover. I like him except he keeps interfering with Sophie's and Fitz's relationship. Grrrrr... But I am so excited. The first book had the dangerous part with Dex. The second had Keefe. And now the third, I hope will have Fitz in the part with Sophie trying to escape and all that. I really hope I can read it soon
