Appearances

If you are particularly intrepid--and can tolerate shenanigans (and occasional bouts of nervous giggling)--here are some places where you can find me over the next few months.

(And if you don't think you can handle my particular brand of crazy, then I guess these are places you *might* want to think about avoiding)

ALA Annual Conference
June 29th- July 1st
Chicago, IL
ALA is one of my favorite conferences of the year, so I'm so excited that I actually get to present there this year. Librarians are my people! You can count on seeing me wandering the exhibits floor like the fangirl that I am, but for official things I'm doing (click the name of the event for more info):

Live @ your library Sunday, June 30
3:30 pm Exhibit Hall: Live @ Your Library Reading Stage McCormick Place Convention Center

Meet the authors (Simon & Schuster) Monday, July 19:30 amExhibit HallMcCormick Place Convention Center

Comic-Con International
July 18th- 21st
San Diego Convention Center
I'm still waiting to find out if I'll be doing any signings or panels, but either way I WILL BE THERE. (I think my husband would cry if we didn't go). And this year I may decide to Cosplay again--though we'll see how brave I'm feeling.

Central Coast Writers' Conference
September 20th-21st
Cuesta Community College
San Luis Obispo, CA
I'm still in the process of figuring out what workshops I'll be teaching and when, but I will definitely be there. Writers Conferences played a key role in my own journey to publication, so I'm always happy to find ways to pay that forward to other writers. Hope to see some of you there!

Less Than Three Conference
Saturday, October 19th
Spencer Road Branch Library
427 Spencer Rd.
St. Peters, MO 63376
(636) 447-2320 or (636) 441-0522
I'm *always* honored to be invited to an event, but I have to say, I think this might be the most honored I've ever felt. Not only is the faculty list for this conference seriously amazing (you can check it out HERE) but it's a conference for a cause that's incredibly near to my heart: anti-bullying. For info on tickets/travel, visit the website HERE.

And there are lots of other exciting things in the works too, so make sure you check back often. I'll be updating as soon as I have things confirmed.
