Hey guys--I know I'm supposed to be posting the list of MMGMs today. But alas, my power is out from a storm--which means no wifi--and the blogger app on my phone keeps crashing (just getting this short post together has been a PROCESS. No way can I paste in all those links, especially since I don't have much phone battery left.)

So... sorry. Blame SoCal Edison, and the storm.

Oh, but one thing I can do, in case you missed this on social media: I'll be revealing the cover for Nightfall on 3/8/17 at 10pm pst, so make sure you check back for that!

  1. Sorry about the storm! Today, I'm recommending Where I Live by Eileen Spinelli:
P.S. Can't wait for the cover reveal!

  2. Send the storm my way. We need the moisture! Don't worry about the MMGM links—I'll post what I find on my site @

  3. Golly, you guys are having the worst weather I've ever known you have. Hope the power comes on soon!
We have moisture to spare for you too, Greg. Actually, this morning there's a dusting of snow on my deck. Am I really living in Portland? #WildWinter

    1. Michael: I'm northwest of Denver and I was watering my lawn yesterday. The only snow I see is in the mountains. Drier than a bone down here at 5500 feet.

  4. Haha, you should move to Seattle. We have plenty of rain to share...

  5. Yeah! Thanks for my birthday present. I'll look for it at 10 PM Wednesday.

  6. Dampish and warm in Ohio as well. Not to worry! Stay safe-- I know SoCal needed water for a while, but there have been problems lately with too much. My book today is set in California, during my childhood:

  7. So sorry about the power outage and bad weather! It seems all of the west is experiencing weird or problematic weather patterns. :/

I'm spotlighting Jasper and the Riddle of Riley's Mine today on my blog, with a bit of book photography, so would love to have folks stop by!

  8. Sorry about your weather problems, Shannon! I will be stopping by later this week to see your cover reveal. So exciting!
I posted about The Mozart Season today:

  9. Ouch, I hope your power comes back soon! My MMGM post is about four Cybils middle grade fiction nominees that I personally loved:

  10. No power can be fun and not fun... I'm excited for the cover reveal! I'm reviewing Day of Ice by Andrew Lane on Reading Violet:
    - Vi

  11. Trying... very hard... not to get salty... about Dex not being on the cover...

Yay-I love comments! Thank you so much! (But please remember to keep your comments spoiler-free. Also, I try to keep this a happy, positive place. Any arguing or intense debate--on any subject will be removed. Let's keep this a safe, fun space.
