Tell The Truth Tuesday--Er--Wednesday

Time for a round of Tell The Truth Tuesday Wednesday
(the alliteration's not as snappy, but it'll have to do)

1. When I started this post, I honestly thought it was Tuesday.

2. When I realized it was Wednesday, I knew I should probably hold off until next week. But I drew a blank on another blog post idea so T.T.T.TW it was. (How's that for a confession?)

3. And while we're on the subject--how in the heck is it already Wednesday?!?!?!?!? Dear Universe: Can you slow down time for me? kthanxbai

4. I'm still trying to figure out what I did with my Tuesday.

5. I'm pretty sure there was email involved.

6. And Twitter.

7. Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnd...um...nope, I've got nothing.

8. I'm now realizing this is a pretty pathetic post--which is a bad thing considering that I have over 1000 followers. I mean, you guys put faith in me by clicking that little button. I think I need to up my game.

9. Does it help that I'm holding a Mega-Epic-Contest-Of-Awesome and giving away 5 ARCs? (*shameless self promotion*)

10. How about if I add in a completely irreverent but totally hilarious lolcat?

No takers? Well, that's the best I've got, people. Brain still a tad fried from WriteOnCon. (Hm...I wonder how long I can use that as an excuse...)

So help me out: What are your truths this Tuesday Wednesday? Feel free to unload in the comments.

  1. I think you can use WriteOnCon as an excuse until the end of time.(Yes, it was THAT flipping amazing!):) And this definitely wasn't a pathetic post, I was chuckling the whole time. And I don't often chuckle! (I'm more of a giggle-r)
Truths: I'm excited for my dad to come back from his trip to the states, but more because he's bringing me sweettarts than because I actually miss him. *hides face in shame*
And... I love food way too much. I just do. :D

  2. It's okay. You must be really tired from last week.

Today is going to be crazy for me. Like we barely have enough attorneys to cover all the court hearings. And I'm strangle someone if they call at the very last minute when something bad is going to happen to them, like have their stuff put on the street. Sigh. Tomorrow doesn't look too much better.

  3. I lost an entire day to Plants Verse Zombies. Seriously, my kid was in daycare, the house was quiet, hubby was a work, I could have done a billion other things, and that Time Vampire ruined my day.

    Writeoncon was AWESOME. Well done,

  7. I have to say, I posted my terrible truth on my blog - that I have no idea how my book will end and am perilously stuck in the "miserable middle."

Which reminds me - can you guys all scoot on over to www.jessicalemmon.com and tell me how you deal with that predicament????

And, btw, Shannon - this post is GREAT and HILARIOUS! I had some similar thoughts of "what to do?" for my blog today!

  10. TTTW ... I like it! My truth? I need more coffee, and I should be writing instead of reading blogs and snorting at lolcats.

  11. Hi Shannon!

Here are my truths for today:

    1. I've already had 3 cups of iced coffee. I usually limit it to two but seeing as to how it's Wednesday and I'm already braindead, I get 3.

    2. I've already let my kids have two juice boxes each today. I'm too lazy to fill their cups.

    3. I'm letting my kids watch Nick right now so that I can "work around the house" but instead I'm blogging.

    4. When my husband gets home from work today, I'll hand the kids off to him and sigh and huff like it's been an insane non-stop day... and then I'll make myself another cup of coffee.

Ahhh... the life of a stay-at-home mom.

  13. You're fine! Last week I went all of Monday thinking it was Saturday.

My truth is that I have a library book due on Friday, but I probably won't be done with it by then so I'm just going to have to incur late fees.

  14. 1)I am addicted to 5-hour energy shots.

2)I love every blog post you do.
3)I can be a shameless suckup.

  15. I sooo feel you on the loss of Tuesday! I don't even know what I did yesterday.

I do know that I didn't write. Didn't read. Didn't really do anything. The day was just GONE.

    So weird.

  16. I know how it feels to lose a day. Nursing school has me so busy that I often forget what day it is and the week (especially the weekend) zooms right on by me.

  17. Hey, no worries about time-seepage. It happens to everyone...

Also, the last few times I've visited your blog the page hasn't loaded correctly. Basically, the white background never loads, so it's the words on top of the blue background, which makes reading blog posts exceedingly difficult. I've tried refreshing, which doesn't work. Anyway, I'm not sure whether this is a problem with my computer somehow, or something with the blog. I figured I'd let you know either way.

    Cheers!

  18. A-haha! It's okay about the losing Tuesday thing. I lost Monday to blogging and revising and computer-ing and catching up on sleep while my kids watched too much TV. (We LOVE the Backyardigans at my house.)

And I spent Tuesday thinking it was Thursday.

And I reeeeeally need to go wash my hair now.

My word verification is "nedlect", which is like "neglect", which is what all of my truths seem to be about in this comment. I'm sure that Blogger is somehow controlling my mind.

  19. I have officially lost all track of time this week. Every day, I've awoken thinking it's Friday! I'm all off-kilter!

Yay-I love comments! Thank you so much! (But please remember to keep your comments spoiler-free. Also, I try to keep this a happy, positive place. Friendly debate is fine, but always be kind to each other). <3
