Whew--what a week!!!

It has been a CRAZY week you guys.

Crazy busy. Crazy awesome. Just totally and completely CRAZY!

But it's all good. WriteOnCon is going to be amazing, and reading all of your comments and seeing how excited everyone is makes the workload--and the neverending deluge of emails--so completely worth it. So thanks guys, you rock!

I actually don't have much else to say--but I'm being interviewed over at the blog of the fabulous Gina Leigh Maxwell, and I am begging you guys to go check it out.

Not only am I totally afraid that I'll be her least popular interview ever--but, see, she's only 12 followers away from hitting 100 followers, and I was like, dude, my followers are awesome. They'll totally hop over there and help you out. Especially since her blog rocks! So if you love me at all--or you feel bad for the crazy, chained-to-my-laptop-responding-to-emails week I've had--you'll head over there and see if we can get her to triple digits. Pretty please? *bats eyelashes*

Oh, but before you go--since I've got an exciting weekend of hard work ahead of me--I'd love to know: what are YOU doing this weekend? Tell me about all the fun, cool, exciting things you'll be doing, so I can live vicariously through you.

Happy Friday!

  3. I feel like the cat. Phew... It was the first week of the kids home with no school. I'm exhausted.

We'll probably be barbecuing this weekend.

    Enjoy your weekend.

  4. Apparently I'm reworking my synposis after landing a partial request last night. Mine is only 1 page (2 double spaced), and the agent wants one 3-5 pages long. Groan. Too bad I don't have time to do it today. (*sighs* Okay, maybe I should have been working on it instead of blogging. Nah!)

    Have a super weekend, Shannon.

  7. I'm cutting the grass and weed wacking in 100 degree heat. That's why it takes 2 days. Want to trade?

  8. I'm heading over now to check out your interview.

We have a fun weekend planned. Water Park and 40th b-day party.

I'm sure all of your hard work will pay off. I wrote a blog about
    Writeoncon. I'm super excited.

  9. Not doing so much tomorrow, so I'm not including that in my weekend which means I'm replacing it with Monday which means this weekend I'm turning eight-freaking-teen!

So this should be an interesting couple of days. =D

Also, your blog is saying obscene things to me. My verification word is "flatuabl." it's also a bad speller. ;)

  10. Hopefully doing a fat load of nothing tomorrow, and Sunday hanging with the dad-in-law watching my kitten play with their cat. Should be awesome. :-)

  11. I hope you have a lovely weekend - you've really been working so hard getting on top of all your emails and organizing the convention so I hope your weekend is calmer!

Will hop over now to read your guest blog!

    Take care

  12. Well, Elana just pinky wrestled me into writing at least one hour each day this weekend, so I'm sure I'll be watching TV, actively avoiding my computer :)

If we're talking word verification here, mine is lesso. As in: lesso is moreo.

  13. This weekend I'm volunteering at a charity event where kids from our states childrens hospital are picked up in Ferraris and brought around the town before stopping at the state capitol for lunch, they then get to explore all of the cars on display. The event is open to everyone in the state and they come pay a fee to get in and see the cars then all proceeds go to the childrens hospital. I volunteer every year and it is one of the most rewarding feeling seeing the kids so happy.

  17. Heading over now!

My brother and his super cute roommate who looks like a tattooed, younger, James McAvoy are coming to stay with me and my mom this weekend. And, yea, that's pretty much it. :)

    Have a good weekend!

  19. Last night, I met Teresa Giudice of the RHONJ. It started my weekend off on the best foot. Today, I will probably walk over to the Chelsea and see "The Mormon Proposition." Tomorrow, I am going to the Grey Gardens Festival.

And in between, I work on my new favorite project: my cartoon blog.

  22. I'm looking for a different job as a production assistant! :)

The main thing this weekend...try to stay out of the heat. Maybe a movie...or two?

    Enjoy yours!

  23. That's a great interview!

My weekend is going to be eaten up by work and cleaning and laundry. I'm going to check your comments for someone with a better weekend - then I can live it up vicariously too :)

  24. Hoping over to check it out.

You can`t live vicariously through me. I`m writing a history paper, writing software for a computer program and prepping for my finals next week. This weekend is...not a fun one.

  25. I totally feel like you. It was crazy all week, even yesterday when I was off work. Two doctor appointments, helping at school & yard work left no time for writing or reading blogs. Don't worry, you won't be suffering alone this weekend. I'm going to be working too.

  26. Hey there, Shannon! Hi everyone! Well, you did it - I've reached 100 followers! *squeel* I'm SO excited and I couldn't have done it without your awesome, AWESOME followers, Shannon.

Thank you so much to all of the support you showed me. I'm so glad you enjoyed the interview. It was so much fun to do with Shannon (& DL, too ;).

DL, sweetie - you don't need to look for another job. I could never fire you. :)

    Ciao!

  28. It has been a crazy week, for sure!

Sigh. I just got back from a lovely walk (not) in the freezing weather England likes to call 'summer'. I visited a plumbing shop and then did the groceries! Oh what fun!

But anyway, I did some writing this morning so all is not lost.

Hope you have a productive weekend!

  29. Last night I was at a big author event at the new San Diego Children's Museum, which was cooooool. Today will be lots of writing. I hope.

Here's hoping you get everything done that you want to!

Yay-I love comments! Thank you so much! (But please remember to keep your comments spoiler-free. Also, I try to keep this a happy, positive place. Friendly debate is fine, but always be kind to each other). <3
